Our Philosophy

Our firm strives to serve our clients to the best of our ability using experience and creative assets. We encourage a team atmosphere and work cooperatively with all parties involved in the project from our clients and consultants to zoning and building officials and contractors.

With our very qualified staff, we find that having a small firm allows us to maintain personal contact with all of our clients, and it is likely that everyone in our office will work on your project at one time or another. Every member of our staff brings unique talents to the table. We capitalize on these unique skills to create a well-rounded project team. Jack or Matt initiates all of our projects and stay visibly involved throughout the design stage. Upon activation of the project, we assign a Project Manager to assist during the early design development of the project, including meeting attendance. The Project Manager remains on the team throughout the design process, and is in regular communication with the client, as well as the various consultants involved. Jack or Matt continues to oversee the entire project and serve as a constant consultant for design review and quality assurance.

In addition to our talented architectural staff, we often rely upon consultants to complete the structural, mechanical, electrical and certain other specialized construction documents. We carefully select engineers and specialty consultants for your project as they become necessary, or work with consultants recommended by you. This includes, but is not limited to, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, furniture, acoustical, audio/visual, and kitchen design consultants.

We have diverse experience, having worked on many project types including churches, banks, corporate additions and renovations, prototype buildings, fire restoration and disaster recovery, interior fit-outs, restaurants, schools, warehouses, performing arts centers, retail, camps and custom homes.

Althouse, Jaffe & Associates, LLC has over twenty years of experience working with churches, camps and schools that are growing and seeking to expand and improve their mission. We have designed many cutting-edge facilities. We have attended numerous conferences and workshops in a constant effort to enhance our projects and enrich our staff. Along the way, we have acquired insight, experience, and a world-wide exposure to concepts and functionality that can be applied to achieving your organization's needs and goals with a building that is unique. We would be delighted to share more about this during our initial onsite visit with you.
